On Thursday 20th October 2022 Mateusz Włodarczyk got a PhD in philosophy from the University of Szczecin. Thesis: “Idee grice’owskie w M. Tomasella badaniach nad ewolucją i rozwojem ludzkich zdolności komunikacyjnych” (“Gricean ideas in M. Tomasello’s research on the evolution and development of human communicative skills”); supervisor: Maciej Witek (University of Szczecin); reviewers: Joanna Odrowąż-Sypniewska (University of Warsaw) and Arkadiusz Gut (Nikolaus Copernicus University in Toruń).
