On 9–10 July 2026, dr Tomasz Szubart took part in the Music and Philosophy Conference in Dublin, organised by the Royal Musical Association and the British Society of Aesthetics. In his talk, “From Expressive Appearance to Proper Function: A Teleosemantic Account of Musical Emotion,” he presented a teleosemantic approach to musical emotions, bringing together philosophy of music, cognitive science, and theories of biological function.
